Green Tea Ice Cream (for a 1-quart ice cream machine)

    1 pint heavy cream
1 14oz can of fat-free sweetened condensed milk
    2/3 cup skim milk
    1 tblspn vanilla extract
1.5 - 2 tsp macha (green tea powder)

Whisk the skim milk and macha together and then microwave on high for 1 minute. Allow to cool, then strain into a 1-qt glass container. Stir in sweetened condensed milk, cream, and vanilla, then cover and refrigerate overnight.

Pour into ice cream maker and follow mfr's instructions.

I followed this link expecting to find a RECIPE for green tea ice cream - not suggestions on how to serve it. I appreciate the serving tips and the cedarwood boxes make a very nice presentation, but I would have appreciated a recipe on how to make the ice cream - preferably a low-cal, low-sugar version - than what type of bowl to put it in. So much for the wholeliving concept------
