kikkid: There is only 1 website I have ever seen that allows you to adjust by serving. I always thought it was common knowledge that you have to adjust the recipes. They simply do not do it. I have not seen it on websites or in cookbooks. Since you will not find recipes like that here or elsewhere I would suggest you look on websites that are cooking for 1. That way you can prepare as many as you like.
Just buy frozen and thaw them.
berries really aren't in season...
This recipe calls for 3 3/4 cups of fruit! Instead of having to downsize recipes, can you give ingredients for one portion and let us multiply them if there happen to be others in the house on the same program (not likely)???? Thanks.
Mmmmm ... In Mexico berries are always expensive so frozen or dried. Part of the challenge is to use our creativity with local products or to use the ingredients we have on hand.
I sounds really good, but I agree with you, this is off season for local berries here and they are rather expensive. I wonder if you would get the same result from frozen?
this would be ok if berries weren't so expensive....
NO THE BACK GATE WAS NOT MY BREAKFAST, THE BLACKBERRIES IN A BOWL WITH CREAM. I NEVER GOT HUNGRY UNTIL NOON. NOW MARTHA HAS TOLD US THAT BLACKBERRIES IMPROVE BRAIN FUNCTION, BALANCE AND MUSCLE TONE. WOW!
I WOULD GATHER ALL THE BERRIES IN A BOWL, ADD SOME CREAM AND CALL IT BREAKFAST. WE HAD A BLACKBERRY BUSH RIGHT OUTSIDE OUR BACK GATE ON THE FARM, AND THAT WAS BREAKFAST EVERY MORNING. WE HAD SOME GOOSEBERRIES BUT THEY WERE TO FAR TO WALK, THE OTHER SIDE OF THE HOUSE.
