Granola-Almond Pear Crunch

  • Rate
    (0)

This dish proves that snacks don't need tons of sugar to be be satisfying or taste great. The pear provides heart-healthy antioxidants, the almond butter has "good" monounsaturated fats, and the granola adds fiber.

Whole Foods has a grinder setup where you can fill the containers provided with fresh almond butter. I am sure you can also mail order it from the Internet.

At a Trader Joe's store. They used to have a wider selection of nut butters, but they still carry almond butter.

Almond butter: 1) google for recipes (grind it to a butter), 2) at COSTCO, 3) at health food stores, 4) at regular stores (ask the store person as to where on the shelf)
