Got Milk? Try It Today
Today, think about introducing dairy back into your diet. Start with a small serving, and pay attention to how, say, yogurt makes you feel, compared with milk or cheese. (If you're liking life without it, though, by all means skip this step.) "Many people are sensitive to dairy without even realizing it, so if you notice any symptoms -- like cramping or congestion -- you should consider staying off dairy for the long term," says naturopathic physician Brooke Kalanick. See how you feel right away, and hours after you've consumed dairy. As you add yogurt, milk, and cheese back into your diet, choose organic, low-fat, or nonfat options whenever possible.
