Taste Test: Frozen Pizza

As natural pizzas gain space in the supermarket freezer, busy foodies can now enjoy a fast, healthful slice a casa. We tried 18 pies (all without artificial flavors or preservatives) to find the tastiest cheese, veggie, and mediterranean pizzas on ice. these three made the upper crust.

Best Cheese: Frontera Four Cheese ($6)
This flavorful, all-natural pie shines with a hint of cilantro and a spicy chili kick courtesy of chef Rick Bayless, the guru of Mexican cuisine. Its crisp crust holds its own against the mix of four cheeses and a roasted tomato garnish.

Best Veggie: Whole Kitchen Organic Vegetable ($4.70)
With a thick wheat-flour crust, oregano-specked tomato sauce, and big chunks of zucchini, eggplant, peppers, and broccoli in every bite, Whole Food's pizza will have even nonvegetarians raving -- and asking for more.

Best Mediterranean: American Flatbread Ionian Awakening ($6)
In what amounts to a tableside Greek vacation, a hefty serving of halved Kalamata olives and onions sits atop a blend of feta, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheeses. This organic pizza pie from the growing Vermont-based bakery is worth staying home for.
