Naturopathic doctor and certified nutrition specialist Cathy Wong created the detox for the Body+Soul Challenge. Detoxing is about helping your body rid itself of toxins, says Wong, not about starvation. "Although some people think that the less you eat on a detox, the better, detox diets should really be about eating lean protein, fiber, and antioxidant-rich fruits and vegetables -- foods that support the liver and help it do its job," says Wong.
