Given the increasing demand for all things eco, any aspect of your dream bedroom can now come in some type of organic, natural, or otherwise socially redeeming form -- not to mention stylishly chic and super luxurious. Here's a list of the wonderful items featured in this bedroom:
Window Cover
This sheer wool challis is from Maharam, a company that supports progressive eco-practices.
Carpet
Its Rugmark label signals that no child labor was used to make this hand-knotted carpet of Tibetan wool yarn and all-natural vegetable dyes.
Bed Skirt
This visually unifying piece is made from Belgian linen, generally considered the finest in the world.
Blanket
A Brahms/Mount striped linen blanket is light enough to be layered with other bedding, as it is here.
Duvet Cover
More Belgian linen provides a soft, soothing, protective cover for your comforter of choice.
Coverlet
A cotton piece from John Robshaw Textiles was hand stitched and hand printed (with wood blocks) using traditional craft techniques.

An old headboard was simply slip-covered -- and transformed -- with Rogers & Goffigon linen.
Wallpaper and Paint
Elizabeth Dow's hand-crafted wallpaper "collages" incorporate real plant materials like ferns and mulberry bark. Using the paper on just one wall (as shown) sets off the sleeping area for a relatively low sum. Wall paint is a low-VOC (low toxicity) formulation from Sherwin-Williams.
