Stay tuned for our Snack Bar Giveaway on September 12.

Lord knows there are plenty of them to choose from. (We sampled a grand total of 68!) It's just hard to find one you actually want to eat. Here's the skinny on six insta-snacks that do the job -- all for 200 calories or less -- and taste good doing it.

Onebar Mango

This tiny, 70-calorie fruit leather packs in mango, pear, and exotic baobab for a serving of fruit. Pair it with nuts for a protein boost. $1*

Pure Naturals Super Fruit Nutty Crunch

A mix of cranberries, blueberries, and pomegranate makes the flavor of this nougaty favorite really pop. $1.70

Kind Dark Chocolate Nuts & Sea Salt

If you love a sweet-and-salty anything, here's a bar that gets it just right -- and with only 5 grams of sugar. $2

Two Degrees Cherry Almond

Chia, quinoa, and millet lend a nice crunchy texture. Plus, every bar purchased means a hungry child gets a meal. $2

Kit's Organic Peanut Butter

Made with only dates, peanuts, almonds, and sea salt, this pick tastes as good as it looks on paper. $1.60

Kashi Golean Crunchy! Chocolate Almond

A whole-grain blend of buckwheat, brown rice, and more renders this choice particularly hearty. $1.50

Staying Power
To keep from feeling peckish again in a half-hour, opt for a bar with at least 3 grams of fiber and 5 to 10 grams of protein. (And choose bars that have 15 or fewer grams of sugar.)
