  • Yield Makes 1 cup

Ingredients

    • 1 cup flaky sea salt, such as Maldon
    • 2 Tbsp freshly grated organic citrus zest, from well scrubbed grapefruits, oranges, lemons, or limes

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 200 degrees. In a bowl, mix salt and zest. Spread mixture on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake until citrus is dry, about 1 hour. Let cool completely.

Cook's Note

Salt can be stored in an airtight container up to three months.
