No-Sew Napkins – Whole Living Live Green

If everyone in the United States used one less package of paper napkins a year, we'd save a million trees. Do cloth napkins one better by making your own from gently worn shirts. All you need is a pair of scissors and a seam ripper.

 

1. Cut a pressed shirt into 12-inch fabric squares.

 

2. Pull out vertical threads with the help of a seam ripper to create a 1/4-inch fringed border.
