Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp Beeswax

  • 1 tbsp Cocoa Butter

  • 1 tbsp Shea Butter

  • 1 tsp Coconut Oil

  • Optional: 1-2 drops of essential oil

Directions

  • Ensure all your equipment is clean and ready. If you're using a double boiler, set it up with water in the bottom pan.
  • Prepare your containers (lip balm tubes or small tins) for filling.
  • Place the beeswax, cocoa butter, shea butter, and coconut oil into the top of the double boiler. Heat over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, until all the ingredients are fully melted.
  • If you’re using an essential oil like chocolate or vanilla, add 1-2 drops to the mixture and stir well.
  • Carefully pour the melted mixture into your empty lip balm containers or tins while it’s still in liquid form.
  • Refrigerate the bars for at least 2 hours, or until firm.
  • Let it cool at room temperature for about 1 - 2 hours, or until solidified.
  • Once the lip balm has hardened, it’s ready to use! Store it in a cool, dry place.
