This was a LOT of juice if you have juicy grapefruit - it was my favorite of all the juices. We borrowed a juicer and I HIGHLY recommend folks beg borrow or steal one to see how great these juices are... and very filling for breakfast! Loved this juice

Great drink! And if u don't like grapefruit, then you could always substitute... Use an orange, tangerine, lemon & lime, even an apple. I loathe celery, so I bought leeks instead. I think it's important to set yourself up for success, and use these recipes as a base, and go from there. Those of us who like grapefruit really seem to have enjoyed this... I know I did :) Best of luck to you all!

If you use three big carrots it's totally enough. With everything else this recipe yields three glasses or 24oz of juice which is great. You can feel satisfied when you finish drinking it.

This is by far my favorite recipe. It's easy to make, tastes wonderfully fresh and even my 1 yr old son likes it! Makes my juicer a worthwhile purchase.

This made a large serving but the grapefruit was a little sour for my taste. It was pretty good and filling.

This was so wonderful and fresh, of course. As another reviewer said, you want the pith because it has the most nutritional value. Also, I don't need to chop anything for my juicer.

Actually you should not remove the pith from the grapefruit.. The pith is an outstanding source of antioxidants. There is as much vitamin C in the pith as the pulp of the grapefruit. Bioflavonoids are powerful antioxidants that can help protect us from cancer, heart disease and other degenerative disorders.
