Turmeric Drink is a golden, spiced beverage made with turmeric, often combined with milk or water, offering anti-inflammatory benefits and a warm, earthy flavor.
Dash of nutmeg, cinnamon, cardamom, ground or freshly grated ginger, or saffron
2 teaspoons raw honey
Directions
Heat the Milk: In a small saucepan, gently heat the milk of your choice over medium heat. Make sure it doesn’t boil—just heat until warm.
Add Spices and Turmeric: Stir in the ground turmeric, and add a dash of nutmeg, cinnamon, cardamom, or your preferred spice (ginger or saffron). Whisk the mixture thoroughly to combine the turmeric and spices.
Sweeten: Once the milk is heated through and the spices are well incorporated, remove from heat. Stir in 2 teaspoons of raw honey until dissolved.
Serve: Pour the turmeric drink into a mug and enjoy warm. You can add an extra sprinkle of cinnamon or a few saffron strands on top for garnish if desired.
