Pulse dates, nuts, oats, and salt in a food processor until combined.
Press the date mixture into the bottom of a 9-by-5-inch loaf pan.
Mash half the strawberries and spread on top of date mixture. Top with remaining strawberries. Slice into rectangles.
Came across this recipe via Pinterest, and am so glad I did! This is easily the most delicious breakfast treat I've made in a long while. It tastes just like a strawberry pie. It would be delicious with freshly whipped cream, but is just about perfect all on its own. I will definitely make this again....and again.

Made this today with blueberries and managed to eat the whole thing (ok I shared a little). Will def make this again!
We made these today and used almonds also. They were amazing! The dates made them taste like there was sugar in them. I felt guilty eating them, but since they really were healthy, I didn't have to.
Can these be made ahead or frozen?
This was a great recipe and so easy! I didn't have macadamia's so I used almonds and I added blueberries to the strawberries. I also added 2tbs of Chia seeds to the date mix. Planning on making it again this weekend, my whole family loved it, even the most picky and unhealthy eaters loved it and had more than one!
