Ingredients

  • 1 large grapefruit, juiced

  • 1 tablespoon honey (or more to taste)

  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated

  • 1 cup hot water

  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice

  • Grapefruit slices for garnish (optional)

Directions

  • Squeeze the juice from the grapefruit and set it aside.
  • In a small pot, bring water to a gentle simmer. Add the grated ginger and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
