  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 small sugar pumpkin, peeled, seeded, and cut into chunks
  • 2 cups

    Chicken Stock to Make 1 1/2 Quarts

    , or low-sodium canned
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons thyme
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
